Brookfield Community School

Brookfield has a reputation as a truly inclusive school, with a large, successful Sixth Form and one which values academic achievement. We have extensive extra-curricular opportunities from Year 7 through to Year 13. This fits in with our vision to send every child into the world able and qualified to play their full part in it.

Our school motto is ‘Committed to Excellence’, where we have the highest expectations of students and staff in all we do. This mission is underpinned by our three core values – Respect, Resilience and Ambition.

At Brookfield, staff recognise the vital role that education can play in the lives of young people. Education should be an extremely rich experience - an experience in itself and not just a preparation for the next stage of life. We aim to develop confident, open-minded, resilient and well-qualified young people who are empowered to change the world.

The school, in terms of its academic performance, aims to be in the top 10% of schools nationally, and one with a regional and national reputation for the quality of the rounded education it provides.

Brookfield’s partnership with the Redhill Academy Trust offers an enormous opportunity for the school. The principles at the heart of Redhill are based on high expectations for all students, the value of academic achievement, high quality teaching and learning, and the importance of widening students’ experiences. These principles are important to everyone at Brookfield.

We offer a range of opportunities for prospective students and parents to visit us throughout the school year, and are also available to facilitate individual visits if you wish to contact the school to arrange this.
