Food and festive gifts shared with food banks to support our communities

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Festive Food Bank Collection!

Donations have been piling up across our schools, ready to be shared with local food banks and charities in time for Christmas. We are so pleased to be able to support those in need across our local communities this festive season.

This year, we challenged our schools to snap the most creative photo of their food bank donations. Congratulations to the winners, Brookfield Community School. Year 12 Drama students captured the festive spirit with their Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs-themed entry, taking inspiration from their Christmas performance.

Along with a certificate to proudly display at their school, Redhill Academy Trust has made a £50 donation to Brookfield Community School’s chosen food bank Chesterfield Food Bank. The donation was kindly match-funded by Aviva making the total donated £100.

We are incredibly proud of the generosity shown by our academies as they come together to think of others and have donated, once again, in huge volumes. Thanks must also go to everyone who helped with the co-ordination of such a large scale operation.
