CPD Network Information and Directory of Services

The RTSA aims to offer support for its members focusing on three ‘pillars’ which include:

  • Core professional and leadership development (CPLD)
  • School-to-school support
  • Initial teacher training and research and development

The alliance provides a comprehensive range of CPLD and network opportunities for both teaching and support staff. We offer a multitude of programmes for all levels of experience and in addition, through our partnerships with providers such as Osiris and Inspiring Leaders, members benefit from access to discounted rates on their courses. In addition, we lead the Nottinghamshire and City Science Learning Partnership which delivers first class professional development specifically for Science teachers. In order to provide effective school-to-school support, we harness the expertise of a wide range of professionals including Lead Practitioners, Local Leaders of Educations (LLEs) and National Leaders of Education (NLEs). The Director of Teaching school brokers all school-to-school support requests in order to maximise the impact on the outcomes for students and staff. For more details please follow this link

For research and development, The Redhill Teaching School Alliance aims to provide professional development opportunities that allow staff to engage in their own research and promote research into what works best in teaching and learning.
